Yes! The unclaimed money finder business is definitely addictive!
Once you get a list in your hands and start looking for larger amounts and then matching them up with names, you can’t stop.
I’ve experienced it and I’ve seen it in person.
Just to give you an idea, take a look at this state unclaimed money example.
Just to give you an idea of what is out there, type in “bo” in the “Last Name” field.
This will give you every name that has the letters “bo” in it.
Now, change the drop down tab from 20 listings per page to 100.
There are over 30,000 names with the letters “bo” in it.
What is the largest amount you can find?
Add up the amounts and take 10% of that. That is the commission you can charge and that is the money that you can make just for finding these people and letting them know about their unclaimed money.
You can fool around with other letters in the last name field as well.
Remember, this is just one list in one state.
You can sit there for hours going through names on a list and checking their contact information and really lose track of time.
I watched my daughter-in-law doing this and she said it was like playing a slot machine! She couldn’t take her eyes off the screen!
Once you find someone you want to contact, you can use any of the free search tools on the internet and our scripts and documents to help them get their money back.
Some states have millions of names on their list! Can you imagine the opportunities available to make money from that?
Every state has an unclaimed money finder department and combined there are millions of accounts worth billions of dollars. It’s mind boggling!
So am I right?
Can you see how the unclaimed money finder business can be very addicting?

I am interested in doing this in Massachusetts. Do I need to be a PI or lawyer here?
moneyfinderbiz says
You do not need to be a PI or lawyer in Massachusetts, however you do need to post a minimum $10,000 bond. I think that costs between $150 – $200 but you may want to check with the state directly.

I got really excited when I saw that you were offering the guide for such a low price , I also saw the price after a webinar for 1500$ so I can’t wait to purchase it , I have been trying everything for so long and loosing so much money I did’t have. so do I have to do this in Utah if it is the state I live in?
moneyfinderbiz says
It does not matter what state you live in. You do need to follow the laws of the state that you are searching in though.

Hi Mark!
I checked out godaddy for a domain so when I get ready to purchase your website. I choose two different names go go by. My first choice is Barlow Asset Recovery Solutions, second choice is Barlow Recovery Solutions. I was going to add my first initial of my name/husband but it would be too long of a name to remember. I checked it out and the keywords are great. This will be a .com. Will that be an issue with the website address that you have replicated or will it go as BarlowAssetRecoverySolutions.com. It might sound a little confusing if I am stating it right, lol
I checked out everything I need to for this business to start when I am done looking over the manual and it looks good.
I already have info/cost for my mailbox address, bank acct. is free, I already checked out a few phone service providers and I might go with a vanity # that spells MONEY and a # at the end. I noticed that the # would start out as a 1-844 . Do you know if the toll free 844# would work. I like the vanity# because of the domain I will be using consists of recovery $$. Business License haven’t checked out but will when we get started but will do up the Investigator Finder paperwork for CA. And the rest of the biz essentials will work on them as I need. I will be purchasing the manual in the next few days. Very excited for this new adventure. My husband and I will be doing this together.
I did noticed that you have stamps made out on one of the comments someone asked about. Is that in the manual also. I know you can get them made.
Enjoy your Labor Day Weekend
Thank you!
Deborah

Deborah,
The stamps information is not in the manual, but I should put that in there.
As for the domain name, whatever you get won’t be an issue. You will just need to point your name server (DNS) to our servers. You can either do that yourself, ask godaddy to do it, or we can do it for you (we’ll just need the user ID and password).
I do want to point out, since you mentioned keywords, most people aren’t really going to be looking for you via a search. Nobody is really looking for finders of unclaimed money (at least that I know of). The reason for the website is to show that you are legitimate and it’s a place for people to go to after receiving a call or a letter from you.
A vanity number or an 844 number would be fine, either one. I think they are up to 833 now.
Enjoy your Labor Day Weekend as well!

I just have a question regarding Moneyfinderbiz – so this program you can look for people that are unaware that they have unclaimed money in their state and receive money for doing this service. I’m confused on some states you have to become a Private Detective. What is involved with doing this?
moneyfinderbiz says
Debra,
In the majority of states you do not need to become a private investigator. If that was something you would be interested in, it usually takes three years, either training with a PI, or working as an apprentice for a PI. You would need to check the rules for the state you wanted to work in.
Just for your information, we have been doing this for many years and we are not private investigators. A couple of states we work in, California and Ohio, we have to register, but you do not need to be a PI.
