I really didn’t want to write a page on the unclaimed money finder manual, but after looking around the web, I felt I owed it not only to myself, but also to you as well.
You see, I started finding unclaimed money in 1998. I wrote the original unclaimed money finder manual in 1999. I was on a mission to get as much money back to it’s rightful owners as possible.
I knew with millions of accounts out there I would not be able to do it myself. I wanted to come up with an easy to follow, step by step procedure that would let other people get involved in the business.
I also wanted to offer it a fair price that just covered all of the work and time that I put into it.
It would contain a blueprint of all the information needed to get started in the business including state contacts, state laws, all of the documents and agreements that we use ourselves, and a list to get started with.
The original unclaimed money finder manual was advertised in magazines and contained a full printed book with two floppy disks (for those of you on the younger side, a floppy disk held 1.5 MB of data).
One floppy disk contained all of the documents, the second floppy disk contained a list of unclaimed money being held by one of the states. The package sold for $99.95.
When technology improved, we were able to able to transfer the printed manual and the floppy disks to a cd-rom. Because our costs went down, we were able to lower the price to $74.95.
We had a website that wasn’t doing too much but we started doing more internet advertising and less magazine advertising at this time. The website was Treasureville.com.
If you go to The Wayback Maching you can see how far this website goes back. I think it shows 2002, but we did have it further back than that, not sure why it is not showing up sooner.
Anyway, the point is we were finding unclaimed money and had the unclaimed money finder manual all the way back then.
Then, technology changed again and we were able to take all of the information on the cd-rom and offer it as a download.
It was at this time that we were plagiarized. Someone took our information, re-did it with some extra fluff and started reselling it.
At first we went after them. We had our lawyer take someone down in South Korea of all places. Then, someone offered it as an affiliate program. You’ve seen these sites, they sell hundreds, if not thousands of ebooks on their sites.
The unclaimed money finder manual on these sites always looks the same with the same green writing and the same sales pitch. It was too difficult, time consuming, and costly to go after all of them. Isn’t that sad?
Plus, I was getting calls from people that bought that manual, weren’t happy with what they got and were looking for more information.
That is why I started this new site. The original site, Treasureville, was made by a web guy that I would need to pay for every page.
This site is built with WordPress that lets me do everything for one price, as many pages and as much information as I want.
Finding unclaimed money is what we do. You’re not going to find a thousand different ebooks on this site. Plus if you have any questions, you can shoot me an email and I will answer as soon as possible.
I’ve noticed a lot of searches on the web bringing people to the manual that will leave them needing more information. That is why I am putting this page up.
I’m going to be honest with you, I’m hoping that with this page up, you will be directed here so I can give you a full explanation.
If you have made it this far, that is great!
I’m not going to do what every other site would do and send you to a sales page. I want you to understand what this business is all about.
If you get a chance, please go to the Unclaimed Money State Laws page. This will get you started on learning more about this excellent but little known opportunity.
As always, if you have any questions, please go to the Ask Me page or Contact Me page.
Believe it or not, I will actually get back to you!
Thank you for your time, and good luck!
